Plenty of sunshine is expected in the Valley and Foothills Saturday with a few thundershowers possible in the Sierra in the afternoon, mainly south of Hwy 50. Temperatures will be slightly above normal Saturday as well, though delta breezes this afternoon will help to knock temperatures down in the evening and keep them closer to normal values for the remainder of the holiday weekend.Starting Tuesday, valley highs climb back into the low 90s and by Friday we may see our first triple digit day of the year. Friday will be an Impact Day for the Valley and the Foothills because of the heat.

Plenty of sunshine is expected in the Valley and Foothills Saturday with a few thundershowers possible in the Sierra in the afternoon, mainly south of Hwy 50. Temperatures will be slightly above normal Saturday as well, though delta breezes this afternoon will help to knock temperatures down in the evening and keep them closer to normal values for the remainder of the holiday weekend.
